Sarah Easter is joining Haines Family Law as part of its transition into Velo Legal Group, bringing her nearly 20 years of experience to Knoxville. As a licensed mediator and mediation trainer, Sarah does not hesitate to represent her clients in court. She values clear, honest communication with colleagues and clients, ensuring everyone is on the same page in plain terms. Sarah develops strategies for those she represents based on the law and based on facts.
Sarah handles all aspects of case preparation, from discovery and motion practice through trials and settlement negotiations. She’s been told her honesty is just one of the things her clients appreciate, which makes sense: Sarah strongly believes people deserve clear advice, strong advocacy, and a lawyer who is willing to fight for their clients when it matters.

Her work as an attorney and mediator requires Sarah to be well-versed in changes to family law, current ethical standards, and best practices.
