
John chose to pursue a career in law because he believes that people should be treated equitably under the law and held to equal standards. John helps clients with the analytical, research, and writing skills that he has developed throughout his career.
He supports his colleagues by drafting documents, researching, and completing work behind the scenes to ensure that the firm’s clients’ needs are met.
John’s Early Legal Career
John began his legal career as an associate attorney with Haines Family Law in 2024. He was drawn to family law because he recognized it as an area in which he could do the most good, helping improve the well-being of anyone who encounters the legal system.
Prior to joining the firm full-time, he clerked with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation and with Haines Family Law. His experience with the Department and the firm allowed him to gain experience in legal drafting, research, and issues in civil litigation across various practice areas.

Personal Interests
Outside of the office, John is an avid reader. He also enjoys playing board games and cycling. Physical exercise, reading, and board games keep his mind sharp and have taught him about dedication and work ethic.
